50 basic Linux commands

<p>This is a REALLY solid list of commands actually. I was quite surprised at how legit it was for only 50 commands. I would probably throw <code>time</code> (for benchmarking) and <code>history</code> (for looking through your command history) in there as well as a section for control characters used in many bash scripts such as everyone’s favorite the shebang (<code>#!</code>) and re-running commands in an elevated context with <code>sudo !!</code>, etc.</p>


<p>This blog is an excellent resource for research purposes, especially for newcomers.</p>
