Although 10x developer are fantastic animals, these steps are still good for becoming a skilled developer.

I agree with some of the direct comments under the article, that 10x has potential to become toxic, but I definitely think all of us must always strive to become better at our craft.
Perhaps rather rephrase it not as 10 X faster/better, but every day a little bit better than what you were yesterday. In a team there should not be competition between individual developers, but rather a spirit of co-operation and constant growth.
Not one of the five “hints” mentioned should be seen as a task which will ever be ticked off as “done.” But if the entire team sees constant growth and improvement as a journey where knowledge can be freely shared between members then each member’s individual growth can start having exponential effects on the overall productivity of the entire team.
