So during the internet boom, he must not realize how inconvenient it was for businesses to try and transition, many startups and other well-known companies that did were compromised  (minor or critical) because it was so new and new tech takes more time to be efficient and secure.  Not to mention all the scams that came from the internet boom. 
It’s called constant improvement to maturity and then further development to fine-tune. I wanna hear his thoughts in 10 years 😂
