3D creature specialist Gino Kolling shares his workflow for creating an alien bust sculpt inspired by Mass Effect: Andromeda concept art. The project was completed in about seven hours as a quick design exercise. He covers his sculpting approach using ZBrush's Sculptris Pro with custom brushes, texturing in Substance 3D Painter using Smart materials with a white base and colorful accents, and final rendering in Blender with HDR lighting, key and rim lights, and in-viewport post-production for a cinematic look.
