A single OpenTofu module from zopdev/opentofu-modules can deploy a full Kubernetes observability stack — Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Cortex, and Mimir — with one `tofu apply`. The module auto-wires all integrations: Prometheus remote-write to Mimir, Grafana datasource registration, Fluent Bit log forwarding to Loki, Tempo RED metrics generation, and dashboard auto-provisioning. It supports multi-destination log forwarding (Loki, Splunk, Datadog, New Relic), configurable alert routing to Slack, Teams, PagerDuty, and Google Chat, pre-built production-tested alerting thresholds, and optional dedicated monitoring node pools to isolate observability workloads from application pods. The entire stack is controlled through a single `observability_config` HCL variable block, replacing 2–4 weeks of manual setup with under an hour.
