2D embedding of 5k artists = WIN

A brief account of creating a 2D visualization of 5,000 Spotify artists using t-SNE dimensionality reduction. The author took lower-dimensional artist representations, ran them through the t-SNE C++ implementation, and used matplotlib to render the result, spending most of the time on visual tweaks like fonts, colors, and sizes.
