pollutagNode2 is a solar-powered air quality monitoring device built on open hardware. It uses a Seeed Studio Wia-E5 module with built-in LoRa for low-power, long-range communication. Powered by a 2W solar panel and Li-ion battery, it can run indefinitely outdoors, or about two weeks on battery alone. The open-hardware PCB design makes deployment straightforward, with solder pads for the solar panel, battery, and sensors, and integrates with existing LoRa infrastructure.
