This can be easily implemented using CSS, specifically the prefers-color-scheme media query. Two methods are discussed here: the traditional approach using media queries and a new method using the color-scheme property in CSS, offering flexibility and efficiency. Despite some compatibility issues, this CSS function is poised to be supported by all browsers soon.
