Claude Opus 4.6 and Sonnet 4.6 now offer a 1M token context window at standard pricing with no long-context premium. Key changes include flat per-token rates ($5/$25 per million for Opus 4.6, $3/$15 for Sonnet 4.6), full rate limits across all context lengths, support for up to 600 images or PDF pages per request (up from 100), and no beta header required for requests over 200K tokens. Claude Code Max, Team, and Enterprise users on Opus 4.6 get 1M context automatically, reducing compactions. Opus 4.6 scores 78.3% on MRCR v2 and Sonnet 4.6 scores 68.4% on GraphWalks BFS at 1M tokens, claimed as the highest among frontier models at that context length. Available on Claude Platform, Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud Vertex AI, and Microsoft Azure Foundry.
