I love this because if you’ve become too busy actually building these projects, you’ll be under this umbrella of misconception that the only places to search for inspiration or trends in design are dribbble, behance or pinterest. I run through a feed quickly on all three when I’m starting a new project and in search of that spark of inspiration.

I see all the thank yous and people going “great designs”
Are you guys looking at the same list i am?
I mainly saw big banner layouts, or 3 block layouts…
I think there were one or two that had actual design elements on the page and not just blocks of text with an image to the side, or just three blocks, or just one big block with centered text.
Holy hell people, is this really what is considered “good” these days?
I feel like web design has just gradually become static blocky crap, driven by the JS and CSS frameworks instead of by creative designers.
I miss the days of plain photoshop designs where as a developer you had to rip your hair out to get things to lay out properly and then cry havoc as you forced it to be responsive. [like 15years ago, ya know]
THEN bootstrap hit us like a truck and everyone decide they could design and “flat” designs became the trend for like 5 years and then slowly became whatever the hell we have now…the soulless 3-block,2-block,banner layouts you see everywhere.
Anywho, end rant…have a good one.
