I don’t recommend this article to UX/UI design beginners. It will be confusing. It looks like author’s self-invented concepts and “systematization”.
For example, Z-concept is just wrong. While it’s true that people read from top to bottom and left to right, when visiting a page, the human eye first focuses on the most contrasting and vivid element (such as an image in this case). After that, attention shifts to secondary elements and then to everything else.
