Raw wishlist counts on Steam are misleading without context. A game with 100,000 wishlists accumulated over 10 years (~10,000/year) is very different from one that hit the same number in a month due to viral momentum. When evaluating Steam performance, always normalize wishlists by time the page has been live to get a meaningful rate.
