“Performance Optimization” and “Efficient Rendering” ? Many benchmarks shows that React is one of the slowest ones, and frameworks like Solid or Svelte proves that you don’t need virtual DOM for good performance.
“Reusable Components” - well, that’s currently a norm. Reusable components were something groundbreaking in jQuery era, but now it’s a basic feature of any front-end framework.
A bit outdated article, I agree with ecosystem and strong job market though.

If you can build it in React, you can also build it in Vue, Angular, Svelte, etc.
However, non-technical management can be apprehensive about using technologies outside the mainstream. This leads to situations where Company B adopts the same tech stack as Company A, even if there’s a better option available. It becomes a case of “me too” rather than a strategic decision.
The justification? “Well, if something goes wrong, we can at least say we’re using the same tools as our competitor.”
In essence, they’re not using React because it’s the best choice; they’re stuck using it because of a risk-averse mentality.
P.S. The same principle applies to Java (and other established technologies).
